Resourceful, Tough, and Spatially Efficient

As one of two new dual-storey builds in this sunny Mt Albert lot, this home features a thoughtful façade and plenty of accommodations.

As our largest residential project of 2025, VIKON’s work in this beautiful Mt Albert lot oversaw the completion of two standalone homes. The one closest to the existing building, Unit 2, features a two-storey, 5-bedroom layout with an outdoor deck.

Upon entering the home, you’re greeted with an airy open floor plan, with an unobstructed sightline from the living space, all the way to the kitchen. The ground floor flexes a harmonising palette of neutral tones, such as smooth cream walls and ashen hardwood flooring – a design language that naturally extends to the selected furniture for a cohesive look. The neighbouring laundry room and bedroom enjoy rapid access to the driveway.

The upstairs area is dedicated entirely towards bedrooms, with each enjoying a sturdy complement of windows for warm sunshine and serene suburban views. Aside from the fully-featured bathroom, the first floor also offers an ensuite for the guest bedroom – both masterfully crafted with ceramic tiles in a geometric stone finish.

Taking a look from the driveway, the home flaunts a decadent combination of brick veneer and vertical weatherboard, from Brickworks and James Hardie respectively. The subtly variegated clay-toned bricks cleverly combine with the perfectly uniform weatherboards for a distinguished façade. With the addition of black accents to the windows, doors, and gutters, this home offers a refined modern look without being gaudy.

The entrance door features a multi-access smart lock from Yale, ensuring maximum accessibility for owners and top-notch security against intruders. The implement of lights and cameras provide additional layers of both safety and convenience.

VIKON’s expertise in space efficiency allowed this lot to be not only freeing, but featureful. With enough accommodations for big families, tough security, and thorough ventilation, this resourceful unit has a little room for everything.
