A Home for Growing Families

Being part of an expansive residential district, VIKON sought to deliver a home that displayed individuality and character while also representing the best of our technical and professional skill.

VIKON Construction served as the project manager for this incredible new dwelling in Silverdale.

Our people-centric design philosophy entails building homes that revolve around the individuals inside, which includes thorough considerations for accessibility, lifestyle, expansion, and much more. This Silverdale build features an attached double garage, with further parking space in the outside driveway, making capable of fitting four cars. That’s not the only part that comes in twos: the ground floor also features a double kitchen arrangement: a galley island as part of the open floor, and a single-wall wet kitchen for intensive cooking in a separate room.

This home doubles down on a layout for expanding families, as exemplified by the dual living spaces present on the ground floor. Surrounding it is a quaint outdoor deck, perfect for hosting guests or catching a breath of fresh air. Upstairs, another living area is present, as well as the bulk of the bedrooms. Outside, the front yard has ample space for a variety of gardening applications.

What truly stands out about this house is the exterior façade. The vertical shiplap weatherboard already makes a mark amidst its neighbours, but it’s the colour that really defines its image. The smooth copper-tinged wood tone evokes a natural and earthen theme, but combined with its uniform vertical pattern, it gives the impression of a modern, yet timeless home. Beyond it, the white horizontal weatherboard and Ironsand fascia by Colorsteel serve to enhance this contemporary take on natural colours.

With five bedrooms and three living spaces, this Silverdale home is built with families in mind. Housing an abundance of places for recreation, relaxation, and cooking, this dwelling is standing proof that good things come in pairs.
