A Smart & Graceful Dentistry

As part of our series of dental clinic fit-outs, our work on Primecare Dental’s Mangere Bridge location was vital to making a breezy and welcoming, yet professional atmosphere. This called for the design of a whole suite of custom joinery, including for the reception seating and shelving, plus loads of cabinetry for both the staff and sterile rooms.

In the reception area, we devised a custom waiting bench made to partner with hook-and-loop cushions, making it versatile, durable, and easy to maintain. This banquette style bench provides a stretch of comfortable seating.

Right beside it, the display shelf is designed with a graceful curvature to bridge the adjoining walls. Endowed with the depth to display goods and ornaments, and the LED lighting to enhance them, it effortlessly exudes elegance and seamlessly draws attention.

Inside, we designed the staff room with a U-shaped layout, ensuring ample space for seating, prepping, and retrieving. It comes with loads of handleless overhead cabinets, as well as enough appliance space, power points, and bottom storage. We used Ossa Stone’s 20mm Ice Snow for the benchtop, which delivered a beautiful speckled white touch, especially underneath the LED strips.

The benchtop was similarly used for the sterile room, where we also planned and installed a large stock unit with loads of differently sized divisions for all sorts of dental equipment.

Overall, VIKON delivered an excellently equipped dentistry, from both the aesthetics to the functionality. Our experience in fit-outs have made this project purpose-fit and perfectly balanced.
