3 Floors, 4 Homes, 1 Ambitious Build

In realising this street’s most eye-catching home, VIKON Construction assumed the role of lead builder. We were tasked with bringing an ambitious home design to life – and a seriously unique one at that.

With four separate residences across three floors, this simply astonishing design required a skilled hand to carry out their vision. As masters of multi-unit developments, VIKON leveraged our extensive construction history to ensure that every beam, board, and bearing was exactly to the blueprint. When changes did have to be made, VIKON’s thorough design experience shone, and we solved problems while rigorously upholding the original vision.

So how does this build fit four homes over three floors? For units A&B, they enjoy the comfort of broad ground floor area, with each half encompassing their respective space, offering open-plan kitchen-living spaces, and 3 bedrooms. Units C&D is where things get interesting: still adhering to the split-layout, each unit gets their own half of the first and second floor.

With mirrored layouts, the two upper residences enjoy corner-wrapped lookout decks, open-floor plans, and four bedrooms – two on the first floor and two on the top floor. The topmost master bedrooms enjoy brilliant Forrest Hill views and a full walk-in-robe + ensuite experience.

For the exterior, VIKON expertly carried out the original vision, with the finished façade donning a stunning two-texture look. Bold orange brick veneer embraces the entirety of the ground floor, but merely adorns the second, which introduces James Hardie’s Linea Weatherboards, finished in an imposing gunmetal matte. Capped off with Roofing Industries’ True Oak Corrugate, this combination, along with the structure’s bulk and height, gives the impression of a two-towered castle.

While imposing on the outside, it is decadently decorated on the inside. Complete with modern kitchens & bathrooms, it enjoys all the luxury and security of a castle, while serving as perfect lifelong homes. Overseen by VIKON’s seamless management of scheduling, trades, and site work, these homes are a perfect example of our ability to bring any design to life.
